Shalish Kumar & Associates Import Export Consultant

Shalish Kumar & Associates operates out of B-166 in Shrenikpark, which is in the Akota area. We work as import and export consultants, which basically means we spend our days looking at a lot of rules and regulations. Our office is in a residential and commercial mix, so it feels a bit more relaxed than being in a giant skyscraper downtown. We’ve got a lot of books and folders filled with trade laws because things are always changing in this industry. People come to us when they are confused about how to move goods across borders, and we try to give them straight answers based on what we know. We don’t use a lot of big words or try to act like we know everything, we just use our experience to help out. Akota is a nice part of town, and Shrenikpark is usually quiet enough that we can actually hear ourselves think while we are working on a difficult case. It’s not a very big team here, just a few associates who have been working together for a while now. We don't have a receptionist or a big waiting room, so if you stop by, you’ll probably just see us sitting at our desks working through piles of paper. We just take things one client at a time and try to stay on top of the latest export news. It is a lot of reading and checking facts, but that is the job.
