Arun Exim

Our setup is a bit different because we operate out of A 6/61 in the Samta Flats. It’s located on Arunachal Road, which is a much quieter spot compared to the big commercial districts. We like it this way because it’s more relaxed. Arun Exim is basically a small operation where we manage international trade right from our office in the flats. It’s a very local feel. You might see us carrying files or taking samples in and out of the building. We don’t have a big neon sign or anything like that. People who know us just find the right door. The day usually starts early with emails from different time zones. We sit at our desks with the windows open to catch the breeze from Arunachal Road. It’s not a fancy corporate environment. We wear casual clothes and talk to each other like friends because we’ve worked together for so long. Handling shipments from a residential area requires a lot of organization, but we’ve got it down to a science now. We spend time on the phone with customs agents and transport companies to make sure everything is moving. It’s a lot of detail-oriented work, like double-checking invoices and shipping dates. We don’t really do any marketing; we just focus on the clients we already have. It’s a simple, honest way to run a business, and it suits us just fine.
