Shakuntal

You can find us over at A 121 in the Rajlaxmi Complex. We are right opposite the Telephone Exchange in Sunny Estate Number 2. It’s on the Sion Trombay Road, near Padra Road. It is a bit of a complicated address to tell people on the phone, but once you find the complex, we are easy to spot. The building is older, and the elevator sometimes has its own ideas about where to stop. We have a couple of rooms where we do all our work. It’s mostly just me and two other guys. We spend our time going through orders and making sure everything is where it should be. The office is usually a bit messy with papers and samples scattered around on the desks. We drink a lot of tea to keep going through the afternoon slump. The view from the window is just the main road and the constant stream of cars. It gets pretty loud when the windows are open, so we usually keep them shut. We aren't trying to be the biggest or the flashiest place around. Shakuntal is just our small operation. We focus on the tasks at hand and try not to get too stressed when things get busy. It’s a lot of back and forth with suppliers. We’ve been in this location for a while now and we know the other shop owners in the complex fairly well.
