Ceramic Gallery

If you head down to R.C. Dutt Road, specifically near the Race Course Road B 2 3 area, you’ll find our shop, Ceramic Gallery. We carry a lot of different tiles and ceramic items for houses and buildings. It’s a bit of a cluttered space sometimes because we have so many samples leaning against the walls and stacked up in corners. People come in looking for something specific for their kitchen or bathroom, and we spend time helping them find it among all the boxes. The street outside is always busy with traffic, so it’s never really quiet here. We’ve got a small team, just a few of us who know where everything is kept. It’s a lot of heavy lifting, moving those tiles around for people to see. We don't really do much advertising; we just open the doors and wait for people to stop by. Sometimes customers stay for an hour just trying to decide on a color. We’re used to that. The shop has been in this spot for years, and we’ve seen the whole Race Course area get more crowded over time. It’s just a straightforward business. We sell ceramics, and we try to make sure we have enough in stock. It’s dusty work, and we’re usually tired by the end of the day, but that’s just part of it. We just keep stacking tiles and helping whoever walks through the door.
