Shah Jitendra Mohanlal

My office is on Palace Road, which is a busy stretch of town. We are right behind the Music College. It’s actually quite nice in the afternoons because sometimes you can hear the students practicing their scales or playing the sitar if the wind is blowing the right way. My name is Jitendra Mohanlal and I have been here at this desk for many years now. The building isn't anything special to look at, just bricks and mortar that have seen better days, but it’s home for my work. I handle things as they come. There is no big staff here, just me and occasionally someone to help with the heavy lifting or the cleaning. Palace Road is always full of people heading towards the center of the city, so there is a lot of energy outside. I keep a small fan on my desk because it gets stuffy in the afternoons. I’ve got stacks of paper that I know exactly where everything is, even if it looks like a mess to someone else. People know me in this part of town as someone who just stays in his lane and gets the job done. I don't go in for fancy talk or trying to impress anyone with big words. If you need me, I'm usually here from ten in the morning until the evening.
