Shah Janardan Bipinchandra

I am Janardan Bipinchandra Shah. My shop is located at A/17 in Subhanpura, right by the Dhinkaw Choek. If you are familiar with this part of town, you know it gets quite lively. I’ve been at this spot for many years. The building has seen better days but it is solid and keeps the rain out. I handle a lot of the daily operations myself. It’s a lot of paperwork and talking to people who come in from the street. Subhanpura is a good neighborhood for a business like mine because people are always passing through the choek. I don’t have a fancy website or a marketing team. If you need me, you just come to the door and ask for me. My family sometimes worries I work too much, but I enjoy staying active. There is always something to organize or someone to call. I keep a fan running because it gets hot in the afternoons, and I usually have a radio playing somewhere in the background. It’s not a quiet place, but it’s a productive one. I’ve known most of the other shopkeepers around here since I was much younger. We look out for each other and share the news. It’s a traditional way of doing things, and it works for us. Just honest labor and a bit of patience every single day. That's how I was taught and that's how I run things now.
