Shah Jagruti Shantilal

Shah Jagruti Shantilal is right on Dabhoi Main Road. It is a very direct place to find because the road is the main artery around here. It gets very dusty because of all the trucks and buses passing by all day, so we are constantly wiping down the desks. The noise is something you just get used to after a week or two. Our setup is very basic. We have a front area where people can walk in and a back area where we keep all the records and do the heavy lifting. There are no fancy decorations or lobby areas. It is just a working space. We have a small kettle for making coffee when the weather gets a bit cooler. Living and working on the main road means we see everything that happens in the neighborhood. We know when the fruit sellers come by and when the mail is going to arrive. It is a very connected way to work. We do not have a team of people or a big management structure. It is just us handling the day-to-day business. Sometimes the power goes out for an hour, and we just sit outside and talk to the neighbors until it comes back on. It is not a polished life, but it is our life. We just keep moving forward with whatever the day brings us and try not to worry too much.
