Shah Chetan Kanchanlal

Savli is where we are based. It’s a place where everyone seems to know everyone else's business. We have our little spot here, and it works for what we need to do. Some days are slow and we just sit and watch the traffic go by, and other days it feels like everyone is coming in at once. There isn't much to say about the building itself; it’s just a standard structure like any other in this area. We don’t bother with big signs or anything too loud. The name Shah Chetan Kanchanlal is what’s on the records, but most folks just stop by to say hello or ask a question. The floors are a bit worn down from people walking in and out over the years. We keep a stash of tea for when neighbors drop in. It gets quite bright in the morning when the sun hits the front window, which is nice but sometimes makes it hard to see the screen. We keep the place tidy enough, but there is usually a stack of old newspapers in the corner that no one ever throws away. The air smells a bit like rain sometimes because of the trees nearby. We have been here for a good amount of time, just doing the work that needs doing without making much of a fuss about it. It is just a local business life in Savli.
