My workspace is tucked inside the Bombay Shopping Centre area, specifically over in Mahesh Society. The address is 26115 Race Course, which is a part of Indira Nagar that stays pretty active. It’s a mix of shops and offices around here, so there is always something going on outside the window. I’ve been here for quite some time now. The shopping center is an older building, but it has everything you need close by. Our office isn't anything special to look at. It’s got a few desks, some old shelves filled with folders, and a fan that hums a bit too loudly when it’s on the high setting. We spend most of our hours here just getting through the pile of work on our desks. It’s not a corporate setup with a front desk or people in suits. It’s more of a local operation where we know the neighbors and the guy who sells snacks at the corner. The commute isn't too bad if you time it right, though Race Course can get a bit jammed in the evenings. I like the energy of this neighborhood. It’s got a lot of history and you see the same faces every day. We just try to keep things moving and stay on top of our chores. It’s a humble spot, but it’s where we get things done and that’s what matters most to me.
