The garden makes it easy to give directions over the phone. We spend most of our days here dealing with whatever comes through the door. It’s a quiet enough area compared to the main roads. The building is a bit older, but it’s sturdy and keeps the sun out. We don't have a big marketing team or anyone writing polished brochures for us. Everything we do is handled right here at this desk. Sometimes the phone rings off the hook and other times it is dead silent for hours. That’s just the nature of what we do. We like being in Akota because it’s central but doesn’t feel too chaotic. Most of our customers are locals who have been coming to us for a while. We know their names and they know ours. It’s more of a community feel than a cold business transaction. We keep things organized, or at least we try to. There are stacks of papers and files everywhere, but we know where everything is. Life moves along at its own pace here. We aren't trying to change the world, just doing our part and staying busy. It keeps us on our toes every single day.
