Sethi Tools

Sethi Tools is tucked away at number 6 in the Makarpura Gidc Estate. It’s an industrial area, so it’s not the prettiest place to look at, but it’s where all the real work happens. We’ve got shelves and racks full of all sorts of tools. If it’s made of metal and helps you build or fix something, we probably have it sitting somewhere in here. The shop is usually a bit dusty because of all the traffic in the estate. We get a lot of workers coming in during their breaks or first thing in the morning to grab what they need for the day. It’s a practical place. We don’t have air conditioning, just some big ceiling fans that hum all day long. I’ve been working here for a while, and you get to know the regulars by their first names. We talk about the weather or how the local sports teams are doing while we look for the right wrench or drill bit. It’s a simple life. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there, just the one that has the stuff people need when they are in a hurry. The Gidc is a busy world of its own, and we are just one small part of it. We stay open until the last shift change usually. It’s just how it is. That’s how things go at number 6.
