Sapan Teredesai

Sapan Teredesai is the name on the door at 101 Dandia Bazar Link Road. The office is inside Ram Way Plaza, which is right opposite the Jumbu Bat. It’s a landmark everyone knows, so people rarely get lost trying to find me. Kachapada is a busy area, and the noise from the Link Road is constant, day and night. I’ve been in this spot for several years now. The plaza itself is starting to show its age, with some peeling paint and some leaky pipes in the hallway, but it serves its purpose. I spend most of my day sitting behind a heavy metal desk that belonged to my uncle. It’s got a lot of scratches, but it’s solid. I don't have a big staff, just me and a young lad who helps with deliveries and odd jobs. We keep a small stove in the back to make tea because the shops nearby are always too crowded. The light in the office is a bit dim, even when the sun is out, so I have a couple of tube lights that hum quietly. Sometimes people just drop in to say hello or ask for directions because of the location. I don't mind. It breaks up the day. My routine is pretty much the same every week. I open up around ten and stay until the evening rush starts to die down.
