MGM Plast

You’ll find MGM Plast right on National Highway No-8, near the V Tv Company in Sankarda. Being on the highway means we get a lot of noise from the passing trucks, but it makes it easy for our own transport to come and go. We deal with plastics here, so the smell of melting pellets is something you get used to pretty quickly. The factory floor is the main part of the building. It’s filled with molding machines and extruders that run day and night. It’s a hot and noisy environment, but that’s where the work gets done. We have a tiny office at the front where we keep the records and meet with suppliers. It’s mostly just a desk, a couple of chairs, and a fan that rattles. Most of our workers live in the surrounding villages and come in on bicycles or small bikes. We don’t have any corporate slogans or polished marketing materials. We just make plastic goods. Sometimes the machines break down and we have to spend half the night fixing them, which is frustrating but part of the trade. The yard is usually piled high with bags of raw material and finished products waiting for pickup. We try to keep things organized, but in a busy factory, there’s always a bit of a mess somewhere. It’s a basic, hard-working setup. We stay focused on the production line and keep the machines running.
