We are situated in a commercial shopping center, so there are shops and other offices all around us. It is a preschool, so we spend our time with very young children who are just starting out. The unit we have is on the ground floor, which makes it easier for parents to bring their kids in and out without much trouble. We have a few rooms that we have set up with mats and small chairs. It’s not a very large space, so we have to keep things very tidy or it looks messy quickly. The noise from the shopping center and the parking lot can be heard inside, but the kids don't seem to mind much once they start playing. We have some books and learning blocks that we use for the daily activities. Manjalpur is a busy residential area, so we get a lot of families from the nearby flats coming in. There isn't a garden or a yard for them, so the kids stay inside for their lessons and playtime most of the time. The staff is usually busy handling the toddlers and making sure they are all okay and happy. It’s a very practical place for parents who need a school close to home or on their way to work. We just do our best to follow the daily plan and keep the little ones engaged with their basic learning activities.
