Kidzee

This branch is over in Akota, Vadodara, specifically at 22 Guruprasad Society. If you know the Akota area, you know it’s a busy part of the city. We are situated inside a residential society which makes it feel a bit more tucked away from the main road traffic. Kidzee here is basically a place for local toddlers to start getting used to being away from home. We have the usual setup you’d expect—colorful walls, small chairs, and plenty of bins filled with toys. It isn’t a giant campus, just a comfortable space within the society. In the mornings, the gate is busy with parents on scooters or walking their kids over. We hear a lot of crying at the start of the term, but eventually, the kids settle in and start playing. The staff spends the day managing snacks, bathroom breaks, and short lessons. It’s a lot of repetitive work, but that’s the nature of a preschool. Vadodara can be quite humid, so we try to keep the rooms airy. We don't spend time on big speeches or fancy brochures. People in Guruprasad Society and the surrounding streets just know us as the local spot for the little ones. Some days are smooth, and other days we’re dealing with minor scrapes or kids who don't want to nap. It’s just a normal, everyday part of the neighborhood here in Akota, helping kids get ready for bigger schools later on.
