S P Rubber Industries

We are located in Vadodara over at the P & T Colony. Our place is on 80 Feet Road. If you look across the street, you can see the Np Patwa School. The sound of the kids playing during their break comes right into the workshop. We work with rubber all day. It has a very specific smell that you never really get used to, but we don't mind it much anymore. The machines make a lot of noise. We spend our time checking parts and making sure the molds are right. It’s dusty work. We wear old clothes because everything gets stained. We aren't a big fancy factory. It’s just a practical space where we get things done. We’ve been in this spot for a while now. The 80 Feet Road is usually busy with trucks and bikes. Sometimes we have to move stuff out onto the pavement just to have room to breathe inside. We have a small crew and we all know what we have to do. It’s not about being the best, it’s just about finishing the orders we have. We keep our heads down and work. That’s the way it is here. When the school bell rings at the end of the day, we know it’s almost time for us to head home too. It is a long day but it is what we do.
