Euro Rubber Industries

You can find Euro Rubber Industries at number 5 in the Viraj Kamal Arcade. We are right on Sant Kabir Road, just across from Kamubala Hall. Working with rubber means the shop has a very specific smell that never really goes away. It’s a bit of an older building, but it works for what we do. We have the molds and the presses set up in the back. It gets pretty warm when the heaters are on. We’ve got stacks of raw material piled up in the corners. It’s not the most organized looking place, but we know where everything is. People come in looking for specific parts or just to see if we can make something for them. We spend a lot of time trimming edges and checking sizes. It’s repetitive work, but someone has to do it. The arcade gets busy during the day with people coming and going. Sometimes we stand out front for a breather when it’s too stuffed inside. We don't have any fancy signs or a big showroom. It’s just a workshop with some heavy machines. We've been here long enough that most of the regulars just walk right in. It’s an honest day's work and we try to keep things moving. The floor is usually covered in little black scraps from the day's cutting. We just sweep it up at the end of the week. It’s nothing special, just our daily job.
