S E Electricals Ltd

Down here at Vadsala 93, things are usually pretty busy with wires and parts laying around. S E Electricals Ltd is where we spend most of our time. It’s not a very big place but we manage to get things done. There is always a smell of plastic and metal in the air. We spend a lot of time checking boxes and making sure we have what people are asking for when they come by. The road outside can get noisy with trucks passing, but inside we just focus on the lists we have to finish. Sometimes the lights flicker when we are testing things out. It’s funny how that works in an electrical shop. We keep a ledger for everything, even though it gets messy sometimes with coffee stains. Most of the guys working here have been around for a long time. We know the regulars by name and what they usually need for their projects. It isn't a corporate office with fancy chairs or anything like that. We have some old desks and a lot of shelves that reach the ceiling. Getting things down from the top requires a ladder that’s a bit wobbly. We probably should fix that soon, but we haven't gotten around to it yet. The day goes by fast when there are many orders to pack up. By the time we head home, we’re usually pretty tired but that’s just part of the job. It’s a straightforward way to make a living.
