Being in Makarpura GIDC at 989/3 means there’s always noise around. It’s an industrial estate, so there are trucks moving and machines humming all day long. We make electrical parts and devices here. The floor is usually covered in some kind of wire or metal bits. We have a small group of workers who know exactly what they’re doing. It’s not a quiet office job. We get our hands dirty. The weather in Makarpura gets really hot in the summer, which makes the workshop feel like an oven sometimes, but we just keep the fans going and get on with the work. We open up early, do the manufacturing, and try to head home before the traffic gets too bad. It is a long day usually but we are used to the routine and the heavy lifting. We stay focused on the work until the end.
