People usually find us because they are heading over to the Swaminarayan Mandir or just driving down Old Chhani Road. We’ve been here in Chistiya Nagar for a while now. It’s a busy spot near Chhani Jakatnaka. The name says Royal Tea, but we’re just a regular shop where we make tea every morning starting pretty early. It gets noisy with all the traffic outside, but inside we just focus on the stove and the milk. Most of the people who come in are locals who live right around the corner or workers taking a quick rest. We don't have fancy seats or anything like that. It’s just a place to stand, have a cup, and talk about the day. Sometimes the rain makes things a bit messy out on the road, but the kettle stays hot. We handle the daily rush as it comes. It isn't a complicated business. We just stock the leaves and sugar and get to work. Most days are the same, which is fine by us. You see the same faces every morning. If you are passing through the Jakatnaka area, you’ll see our sign. It’s nothing special to look at from the street, but it’s our spot. We just keep things moving and try to make sure the tea tastes the way it should. That’s about it for what happens here on Old Chhani Road.
