Rathod Pyarasaheb Rupsinh

This is the workplace of Rathod Pyarasaheb Rupsinh and we are based out in Savli, specifically in the Bhestan area. It’s a bit of a trek for some, but I like being out here. The air feels a little different than it does in the very center of the city. I start my day by opening up the shop and checking on whatever was left over from the evening before. Savli Bhestan is a place where people know each other, so you can’t go very far without nodding to someone you recognize. My name is on the paperwork, but I’m usually just seen as another person working in the neighborhood. The building is old but sturdy, and it has served us well over the years. We don't have any glossy brochures or fancy slogans. If you need something, you just come in and ask. I handle a lot of the tasks myself, from cleaning the floor to managing the accounts. It keeps me busy and I don't have much time for sitting around. In the evenings, the light hits the front of the building in a way that makes it look quite calm. It’s a basic life, but it suits me. I’ve been part of this community for a long time and I plan to stay at this Savli location for as long as I can.
