Raj Dharmendrasingh Mulrajsingh

I am Raj Dharmendrasingh Mulrajsingh and I run my business out of shop number 6 in the Dhanlaxmi Complex. This is in Tagore Nagar, which is part of the Nizampura area. It’s a decent-sized complex with several other shops around me. I’ve been here for quite some time. The shop is fairly basic. I have a counter and some shelving units where I keep my things. Nizampura is a place where everyone seems to know everyone else, so I see a lot of the same faces every day. Tagore Nagar has a lot of houses and apartments, so there are always people walking around or going to the market. My shop isn't anything fancy to look at. I have a simple light and a fan, and the walls are mostly covered with calendars and some notes I’ve scribbled for myself. I usually arrive early to open up the shutters. The sound of the metal rolling up is how I start every day. I spend a lot of time sitting and waiting for customers or handling the small details of the business. It can be a bit slow in the middle of the day when it’s hot outside. During those times, I usually just read the paper or talk to the other shop owners in the Dhanlaxmi Complex. It’s a steady life and I like being part of this local community. I don't use a computer for everything; I still like using a pen and paper for my notes.
