I’m with R S Panjwani & Associate. Our office is number 103 on R V Desai Road. If you are coming from the main part of town, just look for Mangalwadi because we are right opposite that. It’s a decent-sized room on the first floor. We have been here for a good while, and the place has a bit of a lived-in feel to it. There’s a lot of paper around because that’s just the nature of what we do. The desks are older wood and they’ve seen better days, but they work for us. R V Desai Road is always busy, so there’s a constant hum of engines outside the window. We get a lot of light in the mornings which is nice, but it can get pretty hot by noon. We don’t really do anything special to the place, just keep it functional. It’s not about having a pretty office for us; it’s about getting through the tasks we have for the day. Sometimes we grab lunch from the small shops nearby. You get to know the people walking by every day. It’s a community feel on this stretch of the road. People usually find us by the Mangalwadi landmark since the street numbers can be a bit confusing if you aren’t from around here. We just stay busy and keep things simple. It’s a practical workspace for practical people. No bells or whistles here, just the daily grind.
