We have been here at 122 Vadsar for a while now. It is an old building and nothing fancy to look at from the street. We open up pretty early when the morning air is still a bit cool before the heat kicks in. Most of our days are spent looking at various parts and messing with greasy tools. Vadsar has changed quite a bit since we first set up the shop here. The traffic gets really heavy around the afternoon, and it makes it hard to hear ourselves talk sometimes. We just focus on whatever machines are brought in that day. There is always something that needs fixing or a specific part that needs finding in the back. People around here know the door is usually open for them. We do not have a big front office or a receptionist. It is just a workshop with high ceilings and a whole lot of metal. Some of the wooden shelves have been sitting there as long as the walls have been standing. We try to keep things where they belong so we can actually find them when a new job comes in. It gets very dusty in here, especially during the summer months when the wind picks up. We drink a lot of tea while working through the pile of stuff on the workbench. It is not a quiet job, but it is what we do every day. Sometimes a neighbor stops by just to chat for a minute. That is how it goes at 122 Vadsar.
