Heatrans

Heatrans is located at 155 Por GIDC Estate. Being out in the GIDC means we are surrounded by other factories and workshops, so there is a constant hum of industry all around us. Plot 155 is a decent-sized space where we handle all our daily tasks. The floor is made of reinforced concrete and it’s seen a lot of wear over the years. We have a couple of large worktables and a lot of specialized equipment for the heat transfer work we do. It’s usually pretty hot inside, especially when all the machines are running at once. We keep the big side doors open to catch whatever breeze we can from the Por area. The morning commute out here can be a bit of a trek depending on where you live in the city, but it’s nice once you get settled in for the day. There is a small canteen nearby where we usually grab some snacks or a quick lunch. The office part is just a corner cordoned off with some wooden partitions where the computer and the files are kept. It’s not a fancy setup, but it works for what we need. We mostly focus on getting the orders ready and making sure the measurements are right. It’s a steady pace of work and we’ve been doing it this way for a long time.
