People around here know the spot at Chhota Udepur 5Th Cross well enough. It is just a regular place in Basaveshwara Lay Out where we spend most of our daylight hours. The street gets a bit dusty when the wind picks up, but it stays fairly quiet for the most part. There is a small gate that sticks a little bit when it rains, and we usually have to give it a good shove. We’ve been at this location for a while now, and the neighbors in the layout are mostly families and some other small shops. You can see the sign from the corner, though it might need a bit of a cleaning soon. Inside, it is just desks and some chairs, nothing fancy at all. We handle things as they come and try to keep the paperwork from piling up too high on the table. Most days start with opening the shutters and checking if the delivery guy left anything near the door. The 5th cross road isn't very wide, so when a truck comes through, everyone has to pull their bikes over to let it pass. It is a simple setup we have here under the name Purohit Anil J. We don't really have a big staff, just a few of us making sure everything stays on track. It gets a little hot in the afternoons, so we keep the fans running all the time. That is pretty much how things go every day in this part of town.
