Pragati Machinery

Pragati Machinery is located at Por, specifically near the Jahangir Mills Staff Quarters, unit 192. We are mostly involved with various types of machinery parts and equipment. Being near the old mills means there is a lot of history in this area, though things have changed quite a bit over the years. Our space is more like a small warehouse than a proper shop. We have shelves reaching up to the ceiling filled with gears, belts, and metal components that are hard to identify if you don't know what you are looking for. It’s often dusty because of the location and the nature of the items we store. We spend our days checking inventory and loading things onto small trucks for delivery to local workshops. It’s a bit of a walk from the main road, so most people who come here already know exactly where we are. We don’t have a fancy office, just an old wooden desk with a computer that’s seen better days. The staff quarters nearby make it a very lived-in area, so there are always people walking by. We’ve stayed here because the rent is reasonable and it gives us enough space to keep what we need. It’s just a practical setup for the kind of work we do. We don't worry too much about appearances, we just focus on finding the right part for whoever needs it.
