Poonam Proteins Pvt Ltd is located in the Makarpura New Market Place, specifically the Raipur area. It’s a very active spot, especially in the mornings when all the shipments are coming in. We spend a lot of our time in the warehouse area dealing with bags of protein products. It’s heavy work, and there is always a lot of dust in the air from the grains or whatever we are processing that day. The New Market Place is a loud environment with people shouting and trucks honking, but it suits us fine. We have a small office section where we handle the bills and talk to the distributors who come by. It’s not a very fancy setup. We have some basic desks and a couple of chairs for guests. Most of the space is taken up by the product itself. We’ve been operating out of Raipur for a while now and we’ve gotten used to the fast pace of the market. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we have to wait around, but usually, we are busy from start to finish. We don't spend much time on fancy presentations. We just focus on getting the quality of the protein right and making sure the bags are sealed properly before they leave the dock. It’s a practical, no-nonsense business and that’s just how we like to run things here in Makarpura.
