Pitara

Our place, Pitara, is located at Akota Road Shrenik Park Char Rasta 1. It’s a busy intersection, so there is always a lot of movement outside our windows. We’ve been here for a good while, and most of the neighbors know us by now. The shop is filled with all sorts of things, and sometimes it feels a bit cramped, but that’s part of the charm. We don’t have a professional cleaning crew or a designer to arrange the shelves. We just put things where they fit and hope we can find them again later. Usually, we can. The people who work here are just ordinary folks who live nearby. We aren't interested in using big words or acting like we are more important than anyone else. We just open the doors in the morning and see who comes in. Some days are very busy with people coming and going, and other days we just sit and wait for the phone to ring. We don’t have a grand plan or a complicated strategy. We just take things one day at a time. Akota Road is a lively place to be, and we enjoy the energy of the Char Rasta area. If you’re passing by, you’ll see our sign. It’s nothing fancy, but it lets people know we’re here and open for business. It is a humble setup, but it works for us and the people who visit.
