Out here in Dudhawada, things move at a slightly different pace than in the main city. Our office is located in the Padra taluka, which is a bit of a drive from Vadodara. It’s a quiet area mostly, surrounded by fields and a few other local businesses. We set up here because it was practical for the construction work we do in this part of the district. The office is basically a hub for the guys coming in from the sites. You’ll usually see a couple of motorbikes parked outside and some dusty boots by the door. We don't have a big sign or anything, just the address that people follow to get here. It gets dusty in the dry season, and when the monsoon hits, the roads around here can get a little muddy. We usually have a pot of tea going for anyone who walks in. It’s not a corporate setup with glass walls or anything like that. It’s more of a place where we sit down with blueprints and figure out the logistics for the week. Most of the staff comes from nearby villages, so there’s a lot of local talk during lunch breaks. We focus on getting the construction details right and making sure the supplies arrive on time. It’s a lot of coordination and phone calls. We just keep our heads down and work through the list of things that need doing. It’s a plain, honest way to spend the day for everyone here.
