Patel Rameshchandra Ranchhod

Patel Rameshchandra Ranchhod here. My work is based out of 221 Savli G I D C, located in the Makarpura area. Being in an industrial zone like GIDC means there is always the sound of machinery and trucks nearby. It’s a hardworking part of town. I’ve had this spot for quite some time. The office is inside the main unit, and it's mostly filled with spare parts and old records. I like being right where the action is. Makarpura is a good location because it's easy for suppliers to find us. I usually have a cup of tea in the morning while looking over the schedule. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but that isn't really a priority right now. We focus on the tasks at hand. It can get pretty hot in the summer, so we keep the doors open to let the air circulate. My desk is an old wooden one that has seen a lot of years. There are no fancy computers here, just the basic stuff we need to stay on track. People know me around the GIDC as someone who stays late to finish up. It’s a simple life, but it’s honest work. The address 221 is easy to spot once you turn into the Savli section. We just keep doing what we’ve always done, day in and day out, without making a big fuss about it. I hope to keep it going for many more years.
