My name is Patel Pritesh L. I run my business from B/146 Ajwa Road. Specifically, I am on the 1st street, right opposite the Kamla Nagar Bus Stand. It is a very busy location because of the buses. There are always people waiting around, checking their watches, and boarding the buses to go all over the city. I hear the engines and the conductors shouting all day long. It becomes like background noise after a while. Being at B/146 means I am right in the middle of the action. I usually open up when the first few buses start running. The 1st street is narrow, so it can get crowded with scooters and people on foot. I have a small space, but it’s enough for me. I’ve been on Ajwa Road for quite a few years now. I have seen shops open and close, but I am still here. I do my work and try not to worry about too much else. Sometimes I talk to the people waiting for the bus if they are standing near my door. You meet a lot of different people that way. The evenings are the busiest when everyone is trying to get home. I wait until the rush dies down a bit before I head out myself. It’s a simple life, but it keeps me busy and I like being near the bus stand because it never gets lonely.
