Patel Prahlad Ishwer

You can find the office of Patel Prahlad Ishwer on the second floor of Vraj Siddhi Tower. We are at 226 Palace Road, right near the Market Char Rasta. It’s a busy intersection, and you can always hear the horns honking down below. Being on the second floor gives us a bit of a break from the dust of the street, though. We have been in this building for a while now. The elevator works most of the time, but we usually just take the stairs if we are in a hurry. It’s good exercise anyway. Our space is filled with the usual things—desks, chairs, a lot of old ledgers. We don’t go in for modern decorations or anything like that. It’s a place for work, not for showing off. Many people stop by because they are already at the market for their shopping. It’s a convenient spot for them and for us. We keep a regular schedule, opening up when the shops downstairs start their day. It’s a lot of manual work and talking to people face to face. We don't do much over the internet because we prefer seeing who we are dealing with. It makes things feel more real. Palace Road is always full of life, and we are just one small part of that big picture. We plan to stay right here as long as the building stands. We’ve seen many summers and monsoons from this window.
