Patel Jayanti Raman

I have been working from D/50 on Chhani Road for quite some time now. It is a busy stretch of road, so there is always a lot of dust and noise from the trucks going by. My spot is tucked back a little bit, which helps keep things a bit calmer inside. I am Jayanti, and I have lived around this part of town most of my life. This place isn't anything special to look at, just a sturdy building with enough room for me to do what I do. I spend a lot of time on my feet, moving things around and making sure everything is where it should be. Sometimes I forget to tidy up the front area, so you might see some crates or boxes piled up near the entrance. I do not have a secretary or anyone to answer the phone, so if I am busy, I just have to let it ring and call back later. It is a one-man show for the most part. Chhani Road is a good place to be because everyone passes through here eventually. I have met all sorts of people just by standing near the door. I do not use any fancy marketing tricks or flashy signs. I just do the work, and if people like it, they come back. That is how my father did it, and it seems to work fine for me too. It is just simple work for simple people.
