Parmar Nirmala Balvantray

Being out on Padra Road means we see a lot of people coming and going. My place, Parmar Nirmala Balvantray, is tucked away on Bhimashankar Road. It’s right behind the Narayanwadi Hotel, so we usually tell people to look for the hotel sign first. That makes it easier to find us in A/6. The road gets pretty busy during the morning rush, but it quietens down in the afternoon. I like to keep things organized, even if the desk gets cluttered with papers by midday. It’s just how it goes when you’re busy. We don’t have a big corporate office or anything. It’s more of a local setup where everyone knows each other. I usually bring my lunch from home and eat it while watching the street. Sometimes the neighbors pop in just to say hello or ask for a bit of help with something. We don’t have a fancy mission statement or a bunch of slogans. We just show up every day and do what needs to be done. It’s a bit of a walk from the main bus stop, but it’s not too bad if the weather is nice. I’ve noticed the trees near the hotel are growing quite a bit lately. It gives some nice shade during the hottest parts of the day. We just do our work, talk to the locals, and head home when the sun starts to set. It’s a decent way to spend the day and pays the bills.
