Parmar Maheshkumar Narsinh

Vadodara is a busy city, and Mahesh Complex is no exception. My place is D/207, which is a bit of a walk through the corridors once you get inside. I am Parmar Maheshkumar Narsinh. I started this because I wanted something of my own near where I live. The complex is a mix of all sorts of people—lawyers, accountants, and small shops. It gets quite lively around noon. My office is pretty simple. I’ve got my chair, a big table, and some shelves that are starting to sag from all the files. I don’t see the point in buying new ones if these still hold up. Most of my day is spent right here. I don’t have a big staff, so I handle most things myself. It gets lonely sometimes, but then a neighbor will drop by for a chat. We talk about the weather or the price of things these days. I don't use any fancy computer programs if I can help it; I prefer my notebooks. They don't crash. People usually find me through word of mouth. I don't put ads in the paper or anything like that. If you do honest work, people find you eventually. That’s what I’ve always thought. I usually lock up around six and head home to my family. It’s a routine that works for me and has kept me going for years. My desk might be messy, but I know exactly where the important papers are.
