Oara Beauty Parlour

You can find Oara Beauty Parlour over at Shop Number 7 in L G Park Part II. We are right by Darbar Chowkdi in the Manjalpur area of Vadodara. It’s a nice little spot, and since we are in the residential part of Manjalpur, we see a lot of the same faces every week. The parlour is quite small, but we’ve managed to fit everything we need inside. It’s mostly just me and a helper working here. We handle things like threading, basic hair cuts, and skin stuff for the local women. We don't have a big receptionist or a waiting lounge. People just come in, and if we’re busy, they wait on the chairs we have against the wall. The walls are painted a simple color and we have some posters up, but nothing too modern. We’ve been here long enough that we don’t really need to tell people where we are; the neighbors just know. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, so we just sit by the door where there is more light and wait for it to come back on. It's a very local kind of place. We hear the kids playing in the park nearby while we work. It’s not a fancy business, just a small parlour where we do our best to help the ladies in the neighborhood look okay. It is a simple place with no big city prices.
