Nayan C Shah & Sudha K Aayangar

Nayan C Shah and Sudha K Aayangar have this small setup on Mandvi Tarsali Road in Vadodara. We are located right opposite Shastri Pole, which is a very old and well-known spot in this part of the city. Being in the Mandvi area means it is always crowded and noisy, but that is part of the charm I suppose. The office is tucked away and isn't very large. We have just enough room for our things and a place for people to sit when they come to visit. Sudha and I have been working together for a long time now. We don't have a big fancy sign outside, just a small one that most people miss if they aren't looking closely. The building itself is quite old, like many others around Shastri Pole. It has high ceilings and thick walls that keep it somewhat cool, though we still need the fans on. We spend our days going through documents and talking to folks who stop by. It’s a very traditional way of doing things. We don't use much fancy technology, just the basics to get by. Vadodara has changed a lot, but this little corner of Mandvi Tarsali Road feels like it has stayed the same for years. We like it that way. It’s honest work and we do it in an honest way, day after day. It keeps us occupied and we stay focused on our tasks.
