If you go behind Akashwani in Makarpura, you'll find us at number 1283. It’s a bit tucked away from the main path, so if you aren't looking for it specifically, you might miss the turn entirely. Narindarkumar N Arora has been here for a good stretch of time now. The building itself is older, with that specific smell of old concrete and stacks of paper. I usually start the day by sweeping out the front area because the dust from the road settles overnight. It’s a pretty practical space for what we do. There isn't much decoration on the walls, just a calendar and maybe a clock that runs a few minutes fast. The area behind Akashwani is relatively calm most of the time, though you do hear the sounds of the neighborhood throughout the day. I have a small kettle for making tea, which helps when the afternoons get a bit long. The desk is cluttered with all sorts of things, but I know where everything is. People call ahead usually before they come over to see us. It’s not the kind of place that gets a lot of walk-in traffic. The air feels a bit different here in Makarpura, maybe because we are a bit further back from the main roads. I don't mind the quiet. It gives me time to think and get through the tasks without too many distractions. It’s just a normal spot.
