Our workplace is at 394 GIDC Industrial Estate in the Makarpura area of Baroda. If you know Gujarat, you know how busy these GIDC zones can get. It is an industrial setting through and through. There are trucks moving in and out of the estate all day long, and the sound of machinery is pretty much the background music here. Being at plot number 394 means we are right in the middle of all that activity. The building itself is straightforward and built for work, not for showing off to anyone. MATRIX COMSEC PRIVATE LIMITED has its operations running from here every day except for Sundays. The air in Makarpura usually smells like oil or metal, which is expected for an industrial estate. We have a simple setup inside. It is mostly just desks, computers, and the equipment we handle. Sometimes the electricity flickers when the monsoon hits Baroda hard, but we just keep going. People who come to visit us usually comment on how much traffic there is on the main Makarpura road, so we tell them to come early. We do not have any fancy signs, just the name of the company and the door number. It is a practical place for practical people. Most of us have been working here for quite some time, so we know the tea stall owners nearby and the other folks in the industrial blocks. It is just how things are at 394 GIDC.
