Vinns Machinery Works

Vinns Machinery Works is situated near Sadhna Cinema, specifically in Modhpole along the lane of Ajwa Road in Vadodara. It’s an old part of the city where the streets are narrow and you have to be careful where you walk. Our workshop is full of heavy machines and the smell of oil and metal. We spend our days fixing parts and making sure things run like they should. It’s not a clean job, and most of us have grease under our fingernails by noon. The sound of the machines can be quite loud, so we usually have to shout a bit to be heard over the noise. Being near the cinema is handy for people to find us, though the lane itself can be a bit confusing if you’ve never been here before. We’ve been in Vadodara for a long time and have seen the neighborhood change, but the work we do stays pretty much the same. People bring in broken parts from all over, and we do our best to get them back in working order. It’s a noisy, busy place with piles of scrap and tools everywhere. We don't have a front desk or a lobby. You just walk in and find someone who isn't currently operating a lathe. It's honest work and we like being part of the Ajwa Road community. There is always something that needs fixing or adjusting around here for our customers.
