Maruti Pan & Soda

Maruti Pan & Soda is located in Jawar Nagar, right on New Sama Road. We are quite close to the Rama Kaka Temple, so a lot of people stop by after they visit there. It’s a small shop where we mostly focus on preparing pan and selling different types of soda bottles. I’ve been running this place for a while now and I’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit. New Sama Road has gotten much busier over the years. We have a few benches outside where people like to sit and talk for a while. It’s a local hangout spot for some of the older men in the area. We keep things simple here. The shop isn't fancy, just a counter and some shelves for the soda. We spend a lot of time cleaning up the leaves that blow in from the street. During festival times, it gets really crowded around the temple, so we stay extra busy then. I usually handle the pan myself because people like the way I prepare it. My nephew helps with the sodas and the cleaning of the shop. We don’t have a big sign, but people know where we are. It’s a good spot and we like being part of the community here in Jawar Nagar. We just try to provide what people want and keep the place going year after year. It's a modest life but we're happy with it.
