H.R. Grinders

We’ve been working out of 926/A in Gidc, Makarpura for quite some time now as H.R. Grinders. Our daily routine is mostly about the machines and getting the metal surfaces smooth. It’s a dusty kind of job, so we always have the masks and the vents running. The unit is tucked away in a corner of the estate, so it’s a bit quieter than the main road but still has that industrial feel. We handle a lot of parts that come in from other factories nearby that need finishing. You can see the sparks flying when the wheels are spinning. It’s a skill you pick up after doing it for years. The floor gets covered in fine metal shavings by the end of the shift, so we spend the last hour cleaning up. We aren't a big corporation with a lot of layers; it’s usually just the owner and a couple of workers on the floor. If the phone rings, someone just wipes their hands and picks it up. We’ve had the same old signage for years, and the building shows its age a bit, but it serves us well. Makarpura is a good spot for this kind of work because everything we need is right here. We just focus on the job at hand and try to get the pieces out the door by the time the truck arrives at the end of every day.
