El-Mech Industries

Our place is located over at 986-20-5-A in the Gidc Estate in Makarpura. If you’ve ever been to Vadodara, you know how busy this industrial area gets. El-Mech Industries has been operating out of this spot for quite some time. It's not a quiet neighborhood. You’ve got trucks moving in and out all day long and the sound of neighbors working. Inside our unit, it's mostly the hum of the equipment and us trying to keep up with the schedule. The heat in Vadodara during the summer months is no joke, especially when the machines have been running for hours. We have a couple of fans that move the hot air around, but you just get used to it after a while. Most of us live nearby so the commute isn't too bad. We handle a lot of different mechanical parts and electrical components here. It’s practical work. There isn't any fancy office decor or anything meant to impress. We just have our workstations and the storage area for the raw materials. Sometimes the delivery trucks get lost trying to find our specific block because the Gidc layout can be confusing if you don't know it well. We usually have to go out to the main road to wave them down. It’s a steady pace of work, day in and day out. We just keep our heads down and do what needs doing.
