Casting Casting is situated at Plot No. C-1-b-455 in the Gidc Ind. Estate. The name is a bit on the nose, but it tells you exactly what we do. We’ve been working with metal and molds in this spot for a long time. It’s a tough environment, full of heat and heavy lifting. We don't wear suits or ties here. Usually, we’re covered in soot or grease by the time lunch rolls around. It’s just part of the trade. We have a small crew of men who have been doing this for decades. They know the sound of the metal when it’s ready. We don't use a lot of fancy technology or computers for the actual work. It’s mostly about experience and keeping an eye on the furnace. The building is old, and it has some leaks when it rains hard, but it’s sturdy. We don't have a marketing department or anyone to write fancy slogans. We just make the castings that people order. Most of our customers have been with us for years. They know we’re just a local shop that does its work without a lot of fuss. If you come by, you’ll probably hear the clanking of metal and see sparks flying. It’s a real workshop. We don't try to make it look like anything else. It’s just us doing what we know and getting through the daily list of tasks.
