L&T Integrated Engineering Services

Our office is up on the 6th floor of the West Block, right by Wagodia Chowkdi on NH 8. If you look out the window, you can see the highway traffic moving along all day. It’s a typical engineering setup here at L&T Integrated Engineering Services. We have rows of desks with computers and people working on different technical drawings and plans. It gets a bit quiet when everyone is focused on their screens, but then someone starts a discussion about a project and it picks up. The elevators in this building are sometimes slow, especially during lunch or when people are leaving for the day. We spend a lot of time on calls or looking at blueprints. It’s not just one type of engineering; we handle quite a few different bits and pieces depending on what is needed. Being at the Chowkdi means it’s easy to find us, though parking can be a bit of a headache sometimes if you get here late. We’ve got some coffee machines that get a lot of use. People come in, do their shifts, and head home. It is just a regular workplace where things get built on paper before they ever happen in the real world. We’ve been in this spot for a while now, and the routine stays pretty much the same. Most of us just focus on getting the technical details right so the next stage can happen without any major issues cropping up later on.
