L&T Chiyoda Limited

Down at L&T Chiyoda Limited, we’re based in the West Block 1 of the L&T Knowledge City. It’s a big campus right at the Ajwa Waghodia Crossing on National Highway 8. If you’re driving in, you can’t miss it, though the turn-off can be a bit tricky if you’re not paying attention to the signs. I work on the 6th floor, so there’s a lot of stairs or waiting for the lift every morning. The office is one of those big open spaces where you can see everyone working on their drawings and project files. It gets pretty intense when a deadline is coming up, and you’ll see people huddled over desks talking about technical details. Outside the windows, you can see the highway and all the trucks moving toward the city or away toward the next town. The canteen on the ground floor is usually where we all end up for a break, and it's always full of people in shirts and trousers talking shop. The air inside is always kept quite cool, which is a relief from the heat out on the highway. We’ve got a lot of books and manuals stacked up on the shelves, and there’s always a hum of activity from the printers. It’s a lot of engineering talk and spreadsheets, but it’s just our daily routine here at the Knowledge City campus, and we just keep pushing through the workload together.
