Labmate Engineers

Labmate Engineers has been based at 58 G.I.D.C. Estate in Makarpura for quite a while now. This part of Vadodara is very industrial, so we fit right in with the other workshops and engineering sheds. Our building is a basic industrial unit where we keep our tools and work on different engineering projects. It’s often noisy around here with the sounds of machinery from the neighboring units, but we don’t mind it. Inside, things are organized but it definitely looks like a working shop. There’s grease, metal scraps, and blueprints scattered on the benches. We don't spend much time worrying about the aesthetics of the office part. As long as the machines are running and we can find our wrenches, we are happy. The G.I.D.C. area is convenient because all the suppliers are nearby. If we need a specific part, someone can usually just run down the road to get it. We have a small crew that knows their way around a lathe and a welding torch. Some days are long, especially when a machine breaks down and needs to be sorted quickly. We take our lunch breaks together in a small corner of the shop. It’s a practical way to earn a living. We don't really do big meetings or fancy presentations. We just get the engineering work done and send the finished pieces out the door to the clients who need them. It's a loud, messy, and honest way to work.
