Labh Maternity & Nursing Home

We are situated over on R C Dutt Road, right near the Manek Chowk area. Labh Maternity and Nursing Home has been a part of this neighborhood for quite a long time now. It’s a busy place, as you can imagine. There’s almost always someone coming or going, whether it’s excited new parents or someone needing a regular check-up. The receptionist, Mrs. Gupta, has been here since the start and knows everyone’s name. The waiting room isn’t very large, but we try to keep it clean and comfortable with the same old chairs we’ve had for years. The nurses are usually running around between the rooms, checking on patients and updating charts. It can get a bit loud during the day, especially with the constant traffic and honking from the main road just outside our doors. We don’t have those big fancy lobby areas like the new hospitals you see in the city. It’s just a straightforward medical facility that does its job. We have a small kitchen area in the back where the staff makes their own tea and meals. The doctors who work here are locals too, so everyone kind of knows each other. It feels more like a community spot than a cold, distant institution. We see a lot of families come through these doors. Sometimes the lights flicker when the heavy medical equipment is turned on, but we’re used to the little quirks of this old building. We just keep things running.
