Hindustan Exim

You can find us at No. 302 in Herambh House. It’s located in the Anand Pura Kothi area. It’s an older building, so it has that specific smell of old wood and paper. Hindustan Exim is on the third floor. There is an elevator, but it’s a bit cranky sometimes, so we often just take the stairs if we aren’t carrying anything heavy. The office isn't very big. We have three main rooms where we do all the work. It’s usually a bit of a mess with papers everywhere because we are always in the middle of five different things. We don't have a cleaning crew that comes in every night, so we just tidy up ourselves when we can. Anand Pura is a busy spot. There are lots of little shops nearby, so it’s easy to grab a bite to eat or run an errand. We’ve been running Hindustan Exim from this spot for years. We know the landlord well and the other people in Herambh House. It’s a friendly enough atmosphere. We don’t go in for big marketing or fancy brochures. Most people find us through word of mouth or because they saw our sign downstairs. It’s a practical way to run a business. We just focus on getting the exports right and making sure the documents are in order. It’s not glamorous, but it keeps us busy.
